Good luck. Hope you guys win--hang tough. It is imperative that America and Americans retain our heritage, and what the founders were also in support of. **********************************************************************************************
Dear Berkley Vote Yes, Praying for your success! Here in our little town of Poggio San Marcello in the province of Ancona, every Christmas holiday we transform our village into a live Nativity scene with live cow, mule, and sheep. And our families with newborns act as Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. It is very beautiful. It invite your people to visit us one holiday. God Bless you for your courage for justice. Keep the Faith and stay Strong with God's help. You're in my prayers. Poggio San Marcello, Ancona, Italy ************************************************************************************** |

Dear friends in Christ: Well done and congratulations on your campaign to save the town's Nativity scene. When I am feeling weary in the "good fight' I take courage from others like yourselves who shine for our Lord in their own corners of the vineyard. The Lord bless you and keep you. My prayers are with you and your city, not to mention this country… Plover,WI. ********************************************************************************************************* To the people of Berkley, You can't see me now but I am giving you a standing ovation for what you're doing. In my late teens and early 20's I had many friends in Berkley and northern Southfield so I was out there quite frequently and I loved seeing your Christmas display. I applaud you wholeheartedly for standing up to your city council (who was far too quick to raise the white flag to the ACLU) and also for standing up to ACLU. I wish you success in your vote on November 6th. Farmington, Utah. *********************************************************************************
Keep up the good work. You are in my prayers!!! I'm going to check my hometown of Elmhurst, IL to see if there has been one or not. May God be with you! ********************************************************************************* GOD BLESS YOU ALL! ******************************************************************** You are to be commended on your actions on the Berkley Nativity scene. Will keep you in prayer for a favorable response to the ballot question. God bless. I thought you might want to know that I am Jewish, a refugee-immigrant carried out from Nazi Austria by my parents to this great and glorious nation, and that I want to help honor and protect my Christian brethren. ****************************************************** |

I’m a Vote Yes supporter. What seems reasonable to me is that when the ACLU attorney 1st approached Council, she just asked that we make our Christmas display compliant. Seems pretty reasonable to me. Make it compliant and all will be fine. It’s the scare tactics of a lawsuit that has totally blown this whole issue out of proportion.
I believe many of us just want to continue our national holiday as we have for all these years…its fine by us that we add other beautiful displays of the holiday…at least we are not being stripped of Christmas.
Here is what gets me – If the No supporters are in favor of removing symbols of faith from the City….do they also support the removal of prayer that is given at each Council meeting and the omission of the pledge of allegiance? That is what No voters should also be fighting for so they don’t come across as hypocritical. Do you think all the No supporters would stand proud and join hands for that to take place? Stripping our nation of God – I just can’t support that and that is exactly what this issue is looking to do.
It’s Christmas – An incredible celebration of Peace, Love and Joy –How can anyone be offended or feel singled out….We are a faith that embraces mankind.
You’re right this is an issue close to home and very close to my heart.
Have a wonderful evening and take good care.
B ~ Berkley
Oh by the way…Today I went to my foot dr. in Sterling Heights and he said…so you live in Berkley…you’re going to be voting on the Nativity. I said yep. He said, Do me a favor and vote to put back the Nativity. J
That was pretty cool! *************************************************************************************

Hello, I would love to display a "Vote Yes on the Charter Amendment" Sign, on my front lawn, where can I pick one up? Sincerely, Bill from Berkley
Thank You for the FAST delivery. Have a swell day!
How do we go about getting a yard sign? I just made a donation through paypal to help.
Bless you for your forthright movement for the Light and Truth! I attended Angel Elementary from kindergarten through the second grade. I moved from Berkley at that time many years ago. Most recently I returned to the area to live in Royal Oak and Troy from 1989-1991. Obviously, we are all tied to a great and joyous movement for freedom. I will pray for your victory. Blessings from Portland, OR
Hello,
We would love to display a yard sign in the front of our house. My wife and I believe this is a great cause! We actually have a nativity display in front of our house every Christmas. I can either pick it up or someone can drop it off at our house. If anyone does drop off, they can put it on the front lawn or just set it on the front porch.
Thank you,
Berkley Family
Where can one get the vote yes lawn signs?
